Due to popular demand, we are offering a modified version of our fall field trips which have become a treasured tradition for scores of Livermore school children. Around the Nursery, we celebrate the glorious fall season. We host preschoolers to 3rd graders on a tour around our property. Tours will be available October 17, 18 & 20 and October 24 & 25 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Our goal is to share the wonder of the fall season, the garden and have some fall fun!
Each tour includes:
- Personal guide from Alden Lane Nursery
- Learn all about pollinators
- Plant a sweet pea
- Visit our chickens
- Native Bird Organization will be here with a live Owl (pending availability)
- A romp through the Pumpkin Patch
- Pumpkin Fishing
- Goody Bag and Pumpkin for each child
Our tours start every half hour and run for an hour. We have a lunch area available for use before or after your tour. The cost of our one-hour tour is $10 per child. Minimum number for a tour is 15, max is 25 (does not include parent chaperones). There is $150 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space. This deposit will be put towards the cost of your tour. Limited spaces available October 17, 19 & 20 between 9:00am and 12:00pm.
