Alden Lane is thrilled to have Sue Fordyce back to teach some of her orchid & craft classes. Sue’s artistic talents can be seen all over Alden Lane – she paints our murals & banners, creates the Fairy doors & dragon dens, has designed our Quilt Show t-shirts and more! She grew up in a family or orchid enthusiasts and has long been our “Orchid Queen”.

Alden After Hours! Summer Art Series

It’s an OUTDOOR PAINT PARTY! No artistic talent needed – just a spirit to try and the ability to have fun! These paintings are so simple and FUN. Join us at the outdoor inspirational studio of Alden Lane Nursery and create a beautiful 18″ x 20″ acrylic painting suitable to display in your garden fence or patio. You will receive a specially constructed “canvas”, acrylic paint and expert instruction to blossom into your inner artist.

Come and have a great time and go home with a custom piece of hardy outdoor art. There will be snacks, a glass of wine (soda or water available) and music to paint by! Please bring yourself, your friends and wear clothing you can get paint on.

The cost for these parties is $79.99 per person plus tax. These parties are reserved for our customers 21 years and older.
