Fairy/Dinosaur/Dragon/Gnome Garden
Entice the magical creature of your choice into your realm by constructing a habitat for them. We provide a 6” terracotta pot, soil, outdoor plants, colored gravels, a secret tunnel, mosses, stones, and much more. Includes a magical creature to inhabit the garden. Instruction by an Alden Lane staff member included!
Minimum of 10 people to book this party. The cost is $38 plus tax per person and is a 1-hour event.
Plant-a-Pot for Kids
If your child loves plants and gardening; they will love this activity (recommended for 4 to 12 years old). Your group will begin by painting “spots” with their fingers and paint the rim of a 6” terracotta pot. While the paint is drying, we will take a walking tour of the nursery and discover interesting and unusual plants. Upon our return, we will finish our spots and turn them into butterflies, caterpillars, ladybugs and honeybees! We’ll also paint a ladybug rock, and to finish our garden we will plant three plants in our pot. Minimum of 10 people to book this party. The cost is $24 plus tax per person and is a 1-hour event.
2 self-guided add-ons you can do with your group. Adults should be always chaperoning children during these activities. The cost is $10 per map & clues and is good for your entire party.

The Lost Dragon Lairs of Alden Lane
The Lost Dragon Lairs adventure features 20 dragon dens with a map, compass & 20 clues to discover our hidden dragons. A great addition to any party or just for fun.
Find the Gnome Homes of Alden Lane
Our resident giant gnome friend Alden is not the only gnome living at Alden Lane. Use the map and clues to find the 16 Gnome Homes hidden around the property.
The Fairy, Dragon & Gnome maps are available at the Cashier any time Alden Lane is open.
We accept Bookings for 10:00am-12:00noon and 2:00pm-4:00pm weekdays and weekends when available. Get your booking in early to reserve your space. Reservations accepted with a deposit in the amount of 5 participants. This can be paid either over the phone with a credit card or in person at the time of booking. Please pay the balance of your party booking one week in advance when you know how many kids to expect. We would also like to know approximately how many adults are attending so we can set up the party space. No Bookings accepted in April, May & December or on major holidays.
These workshops are designed for all ages and enjoyed by all skill levels. The goal being an opportunity to be creative and have fun! They include a beautiful workspace here at Alden Lane and all instruction and materials are provided for your group of 8 or more participants. The best part is we do the clean up!
Please provide us with the date, time and number of participants so we can prepare for your group and a $100 deposit to hold the space and date which will be subtracted from your total at the time payment is collected.
Decoupage Dried Flower Jar Light
Who doesn’t enjoy a lighted floral display? We will decoupage real beautiful pressed flowers to our jars, adorn them with a tea light, and attach wire hangers for a simple and effective charming lantern.

Indoor Terrarium
Bring the outside in with a window into the natural world. Step by step process creates a living masterpiece! Fill your 10″ glass wonderland with 3-4 terrarium plants and all the elements to make your project successful. Terrariums bring such serenity and life to your home or office.

Fairy Jar Lantern
Easy Peasy- but oh so cute! Decoupage a Quart Mason Jar and capture a Fairy (or Dragon) image inside. Hangers are included to show off your magical creature hanging from your tree. Fairy Dust included!

Pot Heads
These Fabulous Ladies will make you giggle! These girls are made from a Terracotta pot and saucer, prepped and painted, then given a simple face, adding personality with a bandana and some Fab glasses and some bling- and you’ve got yourself one classy Pot Head with attitude!

Spring Fling Takes flight
A pedestal filled with Spring Glory! A birds nest and eggs adorned with sprigs of natural twigs and artificial flowers create a natural salute to the Season. And don’t forget the mama bird hovering near her eggs, waiting patiently for them to hatch. A beautiful centerpiece for any spring table.

Located on 5 acres and shaded by magnificent valley oaks more than 300 years old, Alden Lane Nursery is a lovely and unique location for an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony. Our more than 3000 trees, shrubs and perennials provide a beautiful natural backdrop for your special day. The nursery is available for wedding ceremonies but not receptions.
Capacity: Up to 150 Guests
Rental fee: $1,000 for up to three hours including set up and photography time. Each additional hour is billed at the rate of $250.00 per hour.
Set up fee: $350
Availability: Available daily. Wedding ceremony must begin by 7:00 p.m.
