The Instructors
The class will be team taught by Alex Anderson and Darra Duffy Williamson; their combined quilting experience totals 60+ years!

Alex and Darra have been friends and work partners for many years.
They decided at a personal quilt retreat that it would be fun to team teach a class. Scrap quilts became the central theme they decided to work with.
You know Alex and her friendship with Alden Lane - here is a little about Darra.

Darra Williamson has almost 30 years experience as a quilt maker and teacher.
She was named Professional Quilter magazine's 1989 Quilt Teacher of the Year, and has lectured, and taught workshops and seminars throughout the US, the United Kingdom, and on numerous quilting cruises.
She is the author of the book, Sensational Scrap Quilts (AQS, 1992), creator and designer of the column "Traditional with a Twist" for Quilting Today magazine, and former editor-in-chief of C&T Publishing.
She currently works as a freelance editorial consultant for major quilt-book publishers and authors.
