Art Under the Oaks 2017
Wonderful event – Thanks for all who came
Alden Lane Nursery showcased nearly 40 local and regional artists and musicians. We are including a few of our favorite pictures here.
Since it is impossible to enjoy art and music without food and wine, we also invited Livermore winemakers (including Wente, Concannon, Dante Robere, Rios-Lovell, Garre & Crooked Vine and Stony Ridge) to share their vintages.
We will offer several food selections from the Savourie Streets food truck and Hiroshi’s Catering.
Art Under the Oaks also had several ways for the public to join in and to express creativity.
- Pallet painting, back by popular demand
- Public access Baby Grand Piano
- Large cooperative string art project
- Soap carving
- kids activity area
The pallets painted on Saturday were auctioned off on Sunday with all proceeds going to Livermore High School art programs.
In our kid’s club area, we offered opportunities for kids to get involved with a FREE art project. Tri-Valley Woodcarvers coached kids in the art of soap carving in our Seasons building.
