Special Speaker Comes to Alden Lane - Saturday, October 11th at 11 a.m.

BART O'BRIEN, director of the East Bay Regional Parks Botanic Garden at Tilden Park and co-author of Reimagining the California Lawn and California Native Plants for the Garden books, will speak on Saturday, October 11th at 11 a.m. O'Brien will also be signing books. He is a 5th generation Californian & is an authority on native flora of the state.

Before coming to Berkeley, Bart was the Director of Horticulture and leader of Special Projects at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Clairmont.
