Quilting Class | Star Bellies
Feb. 21, 22 & 23.
In this class you will make a sampler based around 12" sawtooth stars. Regarding the star, you will learn 3 different piecing possibilities (the flying geese units). In the belly of the star you will learn several more piecing techniques - including the Y seam. You will also learn how to work with fabric to insure smashing results. Sign up today as space is extremely limited.

Required textbook: Keep Quilting with Alex Anderson by Alex Anderson (will be available for sale in class)
Rotary mat, Omni Grid 6" x 12" ruler, and rotary cutter
General sewing supplies
Sewing machine in excellent running condition
Fabric - Choose a theme (holiday, focus, batik, 30's, 1875…….. and the list goes on) and then bring a various selection of fabric which supports your theme. Remember to include, light, med and dark. The more fabric you bring the happier you will be. We are lucky to have a quilt shop in town if you find your selection isn't what you hoped for.
This Class will be held at Alden Lane Nursery on Feb. 21, 22 & 23.
Cost for class includes lunch each day is $300.00 per person.
