- General Rules: No Purchase Necessary. Must be 18 years or older. There will be Two (2) distinct and separate categories of prizes awarded:
- Two Weekly prizes with Two (2) winners selected each week at random from all eligible entries. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
- One Annual grand prize with One (1) winner randomly selected from amongst all those who won a weekly prize during the year of this contest. Odds of winning are 1 out of 104 based upon one prize randomly drawn from the 2 weekly prize winners times the 52 weeks of the contest.
Note: in order to claim either the weekly prizes and/or the annual grand prize, winners MUST have a valid Email address on file with Alden Lane Nursery.
- Weekly Prizes:
- 1st Prize Winner will receive a $50 Alden Lane Coupon
- 2nd Prize Winner will receive a $25 Alden Lane Coupon
Prize Coupons are redeemable in merchandise only at Alden Lane Nursery -- no cash value.
- Selection of Weekly Prize Winners: After each week's winners are chosen, 1st prize will be awarded to the winner who has visited (clicked on) the most links for that week's issue; 2nd prize will be awarded to the other winner. In the event of a tie between the two, prior week(s) will be included in the count until the tie is broken.
- Annual Grand Prize: Carnival Fun Ship First Class Round Trip Cruise Excursion to Mexico for two. Trip includes 4 days travel, all meals, and gratuities and luxury ocean view stateroom accommodations.
- Selection of Annual Grand Prize Winner: The Annual Grand prize will be chosen by random drawing from amongst the 104 weekly prize winners during the preceeding 52 weeks of the contest who still have a valid Email address on file with Alden Lane Nursery on the date of the annual grand prize drawing.
- Eligibility: Contest is open to all ACTIVE registered members of the Alden Lane Nursery Email List who are 18 years of age or older, except employees of Alden Lane Nursery and its advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families or household members of each. For these rules, "immediate family" means spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons and daughters.
- Prize Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by Email and must provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the Email address associated with the winning entry by replying from that Email address within seven (7) days of the transmission of the notification Email. If a winning Email address is found to be invalid and/or non-operational and/or the winner fails to respond from the winning Email address within seven (7) days the corresponding prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
- Miscellaneous: All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Alden Lane Nursery reserves the right, at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the drawing. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods. Alden Lane Nursery reserves the right to disqualify consumers who violate any of the Official Rules or attempt to interfere with the promotion in any manner. Winner's names and prizes may be announced in Alden Lane Nursery electronic and print publications. All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. In the event of a dispute the decision of Alden Lane Nursery will be final. Failure to comply with any of the above will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
