AMBROSIA MELON
A hybrid cantaloupe(muskmelon). 86 days to harvest. Melons average about 6 ins. in diameter and 5lbs., with thick ,firm, peach-colored flesh. Flavor is like "nectar of the gods" sweet! Plants like a more sandier soil and will yield bumper crops in those conditions.
MOON & STARS WATERMELON
An Amish heirloom watermelon. 95 days to harvest. Melons are dark green with yellow, "moon & star" markings on the rind and leaves. Meat is reddish-pink with outstandingly sweet flavor! Large icebox size. Does better in sandier soils.
NAVAJO WATERMELON
An heirloom watermelon. 85 days to harvest. Melons are light green in color with dark green , broken striping. Flavor is very,very sweet, (one of the sweetest). This is the perfect icebox size melon. Great for picnics or kids parties!
PERSIAN MELON
An heirloom cantaloupe (muskmelon). 90-120 days to harvest. Melons are light green with ribbing and netting. Flesh is salmon-colored and sweetly aromatic.They can be 5-7lbs. size. This melon produces deeper roots than other melons so it can get by with less waterings and dislikes humidity.They prefer long, hot, dry summers. This is a "late "melon that needs to be cut from the vine when ripe and doesn't ripen much after harvesting.
YELLOW DOLL WATERMELON
A hybrid watermelon. 70 days to harvest. Melons are two- toned, green striped rind with bright yellow meat, that tastes just like any watermelon! They are small, 7lbs., icebox sized. A must try for those with gourmet tastes! Good for small gardens.
