The beauty of forced hyacinth is pretty amazing but hard to achieve.  Hyacinth require at least 13 weeks refrigeration in a special vase before they can be brought out into the room to bloom.  We have a handful of these very beautiful plants ready to put on their spectacular show.  They have been in a refrigerator since October. Each has filled its vase with pure white, sinuous roots. The water is sparkling clear and the bulbs have set a green shoot that is poised to rise to the occasion, put on leaves and bloom. 

When hyacinth bloom they are pretty and vibrant to look at both above water and below. They come in bright colors, pinks blues, sometimes orange, yellow or white. but more than good looks, they also smell amazing and sweet.

Treat yourself to a rare, fragrant wonder.  You won't find anything like this anywhere right now unless you are growing your own right.  More people should know about this amazing bulb and plant but until they do, you will have to come to Alden Lane to view or purchase one of the handful we have now.
