An all-purpose, pre-fertilized planting & garden soil amendment.
Our very favorite garden soil amendment for vegetables. Spread 2-3 Inches over your soil and work in, or use anually as a mulch layer.

For Each 10 x 10 area add:

5-8 bags (2 cubic size), Gold Rush, Bumper Crop or Paydirt
5 lbs Iron Sulfate to acidify and add iron
10 lbs Master Vegetable Food, Master Flower Food
50 lbs Gypsum. (It loosens hrd soils as it adds important elements: sulfur and calcium.

Mix well with your soil to a depth of 8" and water well.

Gardening is not as much about taking care of plants as it is about taking care of soil. If your soil is amended for improved texture. If it contains a balanced supply of nutrients and minerals and is teaming with microscopic life, your plants will probably thrive without much additional effort from you.

Three to four inches of organic material such as yard compost, Gold Rush or Bumper Crop worked into the top 8" of soil will yield a 9-12" deep layer of suitable garden soil that drains well, nurtures life and produces a respectable garden harvest. Ongoing care of this soil will result in a garden that produces better and better as the years pass.

If you are preparing a vegetable or flower garden bed here's a tried and true soil preparation recipe that works wonders. It lightens our heavy soil, nourishes it and buffers the pH to make it 'just right' for the success of your vegetable and flower seeds or transplants.

**To Amend 100 Square Foot Area for Bulbs Use:**
Product	Amount	Special Notes
Master Gold Rush or Bumper Crop	5 bags (10 cubic feet)	These soil conditioners help to organically enrich and lighten our area's heavy clay.
Iron Sulfate or E.B. Stone pH Adjuster	5 Lbs.	Acidifies your soil and adds iron
Master's Bulb Food	10 Lbs.	Use at planting time and during the growing season. In addition to N-P-K, Bulb Food contains Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur, Iron, Manganese and Zinc.
Gypsum	50 Lbs.	Loosens hard soils as it adds sulphur and calcium. It is an excellent addition to our area's heavy soil.
