Crafternoons 2018

A Crafternoon is an opportunity to indulge your inner artist and join other creative connoisseurs in make-and-take craft projects that are fun and imaginative. We provide the instruction and all the materials to make each project. Make sure you reserve your space early, as we only have so many spaces available. You can reserve your space by coming in and paying in person at our Alden Lane cashiers booth, or by paying over the phone (925)447-0280. Crafternoons are a unique opportunity to learn new skills and have a great time together- so join our band of Merry Makers!

Felted Scarf

Saturday, November 3 (1:30-3:30 pm)
A colorful raw wool wispy scarf that gives you warmth without the bulk. This process uses “wet” felting to bind the wool together to make “felt”. Caution- you may get a little damp (but it is all part of the fun)! Just in time for gift giving (if you can bear to give it up, that is)! Another unique creation made by you. The sample will be in the garden store in October. Scarf class is $39.00 plus tax and includes all materials and instruction. Please reserve your space by Oct.31st.

Felted Snowman

Saturday, Dec. 8th (1:30-3:30)
This time we are doing the joyful art of needle felting, creating a jolly little figure
by punching a special unthreaded needle into raw wool to form a shape and “bind” the wool into felt. Very satisfying- and FUN to boot! Don’t miss it. The cost of this class is $30.00 and includes all materials and instruction. Please reserve your space by Dec. 5th
